PR Head Fake: California ACORN Pretends To Separate From National ACORN

January 13th, 2010 by Matthew Vadum

If you believe California ACORN is really and truly breaking away from ACORN, I’ve got a bridge in Brooklyn I’d like to sell you.

Amazingly, ACORN actually believes Americans are dumb enough to fall for the scheme reported in today’s Los Angeles Times.

The new fake group will be called Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE).

I believe the 2nd paragraph of the article tells it all:

“The new group will have the same mission, be staffed by many of the same employees who worked for ACORN, and will be funded by most of the same donors …”

ACORN already has name-changed branches all over. They are still the evil, lying, fraudulent bunch they’ve always been.

I guess we can now add ACCE to the long list of front groups operating in conjunction with the Democrat political machine in the name of “helping the working class”!
