House Nixes Anti-ACORN Funding, Census Amendments
June 17th, 2009 by Matthew VadumDemocrats in the House of Representatives used a parliamentary maneuver to kill amendments aimed at preventing ACORN from being eligible for federal funds and from participating in the 2010 Census, Fox News reports. (I am advised that the vote was 179 to 124.)
