Liberal Trolls Upset at Liberal Hacks

April 12th, 2009 by Matthew Vadum

Jane Hamsher of left-wing website Firedoglake is upset that liberal interest groups aren’t paying left-wing bloggers for propagating the faith.

“They come to us, expecting us to give them free publicity, and we do, but it’s not a two way street…They won’t do anything in return. They’re not advertising with us. They’re not offering fellowships. They’re not doing anything to help financially, and people are growing increasingly resentful,” she told Greg Sargent of WhoRunsGov.

Hamsher is the Hollywood bigwig who spoke against the tea party movement yesterday at a sparsely attended rally outside the White House.

Perhaps with a tinfoil hat obscured by her cap, Hamsher said the tea parties are “financed by Fox News” and by “people on the conservative end who are just pissed off that they’re not the ones stealing right now.”

“That’s phony populism,” she said. When asked to elaborate, she refused. I doubt anyone was surprised.
